Chapter 5 Reflection
Before reading chapter 5 I knew and heard about SQ3R, previewing and making connections with the topic you are going to read about because of where I work. We teach kids the same techniques such as previewing before starting anything so they get a sense of what they are going to be working on for the day. I like the fact that I can take what I learn from the chapter and include it in my work place and present it in a new way. I never really used the SQ3R since sixth grade where I first learned about it and completely forgot about it after that year. After reading the chapter I saw that it went more in depth with the topic then what I was previously taught about it and what it can be used for and how helpful it is in many ways.
